TThe ongoing war in Iraq and Syria has not only resulted in the loss of territories, fighters and revenue for the so-called Islamic State (IS), it also appears to have had a negative impact on IS media operations. IS, however, remains defiant. Through its premier digital magazine, Dabiq, IS projects itself as strong, lethal and determined to pursue its goal of establishing a global caliphate.
