520 _aBuilding Foundations for Transparency is the second phase of a multi-year project conducted by the Partnering Against Corruption Initiative (PACI) to address the specific needs of the Infrastructure & Urban Development (IU) industries. The project involves Forum partners from three sectors that are among the most exposed to corruption risks—engineering, construction, and real estate. The goal of the project is to create a level playing field that allows local companies to compete in well-working markets and that facilitates the market entry of global companies. More efficient markets with lower levels of corruption will benefit the entire society, including citizens and consumers.
